We are seeking an experienced Team Leader to oversee the maintenance and enhancement of natural areas across Ipswich. This hands-on leadership role is ideal for someone with strong plant identification skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to motivate and support a growing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and coordinate a team delivering bush regeneration and natural area maintenance services.
  • Identify native plants and weed species and implement effective management strategies.
  • Operate and maintain a range of horticultural and vegetation management equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Conduct routine equipment inspections and ensure assets are maintained in good working order.
  • Deliver high-quality outcomes across natural areas and environmental projects.
  • Complete service requests and project tasks within required timeframes.
  • Promote and uphold safe work practices and company procedures at all times.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience in bush regeneration, environmental services, or natural area maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of native plant and weed identification.
  • Demonstrated experience leading or supervising a team.
  • Current Manual Driver's Licence.
  • Current White Card.
  • ACDC qualification (highly regarded).
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude.
  • A willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • A strong commitment to quality workmanship, safety, and environmental outcomes.
