Site Supervisor - City of Port Phillip

• Permanent full-time position (Monday to Friday) No weekends!!

About the Role

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all horticultural activities and site operations. In this role, you will lead and support a team of 4–5 Team Members, ensuring high-quality service delivery and operational efficiency.

Based in the City of Port Phillip, you will work within some of Melbourne's pristine beaches, parks, sports facilities and a well-maintained environment.

 Responsibilities include:

• Oversee the team's on-site activities to ensure efficient and safe operations.
• Assist in developing and implementing safe work practices, fostering a culture of safety within the team.
• Weekly & Monthly report writing and stakeholder updates
• Participate in performance reviews to provide feedback and support the professional growth of team members.
• Proactively raise any workplace health and safety (WHS) issues to the State Manager or WHS Advisor for timely resolution.
• Actively participate in scheduled toolbox meetings to discuss safety updates, share insights, and address concerns.
• Conduct regular WHS inspections to identify potential hazards and promptly report findings to relevant stakeholders.

About You

• Certificate III in Horticulture or Parks & Gardens.
• Valid White Card
• Valid Working With Children Check, or willingness to obtain.
• Valid Drivers' license.
• Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role, with demonstrated ability to motivate and develop team members.
• Strong commitment to safe work practices
