About the Role

We are currently hiring Garden Labourers to assist with various tasks related to garden maintenance. This is a hands-on role that requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions. If you have a passion for working with plants, a strong work ethic, and a desire to learn and grow in the horticultural industry, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

Vegetation Management and Landscape Maintenance:

Maintenance of waterways, reserves, tracks, and landscaped gardens
Perform manual tasks such as brushcutting, planting, mulching, and waste removal.
Implement integrated weed control techniques, including mechanical removal and chemical application.
Use and maintain work vehicle and small to medium plant and equipment.
Work collaboratively with a dynamic team, share your relevant experience, and be willing to learn from others.

About You

Demonstrated experience in practical conservation and land management activities.
Knowledge of vegetation management techniques.
Proficiency in identifying weeds and native flora.
Skills in using high-volume herbicide spray units and back-pack sprayers.
Ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
Manual Driver’s Licence advantageous.
ACUP or Chemcert advantageous.
