About the Role

Green by Nature is looking for a reliable and hands-on Groundsperson to join our team in Brendale. This is a full-time, Monday to Friday opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in maintaining high-quality turf and outdoor areas.

Working as part of a supportive team, you'll play an important role in keeping turf areas healthy, well-presented and maintained to a consistently high standard. You'll be involved in regular mowing, edging, trimming and general turf maintenance, while operating a range of professional equipment.

🌱 What You'll Be Doing – Turf Maintenance

• Mowing and maintaining turf areas to a high standard
• Operating push and ride-on mowers across large turf areas
• Whipper snipping and edging around turf areas
• Maintaining clean and defined turf edges
• Carrying out general turf care and maintenance
• Assisting with fertilising and turf nutrition programs
• Identifying and controlling weeds within turf areas
• Assisting with turf repairs, reinstatement and general presentation
• Monitoring turf health and reporting any issues
• Assisting with irrigation and watering requirements
• Operating blowers and other outdoor maintenance equipment
• Keeping turf areas, paths and surrounding areas clean and well presented
• Loading and unloading materials, tools and equipment as required
• Following safe work practices and maintaining equipment in good condition

✅ About You

We're looking for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in presentation and is keen to develop their skills in turf maintenance and grounds care.

• Previous experience in turf maintenance, grounds maintenance, landscaping or horticulture is highly regarded
• Experience operating push and ride-on mowers is desirable
• Experience using whipper snippers, edgers and other outdoor equipment
• A genuine interest in turf and maintaining high-quality outdoor spaces
• Strong attention to detail and pride in presentation
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking
• Able to follow instructions and work well as part of a team
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Physically fit and able to perform hands-on outdoor work
• Current driver's licence
• White Card or willingness to obtain
• Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain
