Green by Nature is offering an exciting opportunity for an Apprentice Sports Turf Management to join our team at Cranbrook School, one of Australia's leading independent schools. Working alongside experienced Sports Turf professionals, you'll learn how to maintain and present high-quality sports fields, ovals and outdoor spaces while completing a nationally recognised trade qualification.

This four-year apprenticeship combines paid, hands-on training with formal study, giving you the skills, experience and qualifications to build a long-term career in the sports turf industry.

What You'll Learn

Throughout your apprenticeship you'll gain practical experience in:

• Irrigation system installation, operation and maintenance
• Soil management and plant nutrition practices
• Turf renovation and construction techniques
• Weed, pest and disease identification and control
• Safe operation of commercial turf equipment and machinery
• Sports field presentation and preparation
• Workplace health and safety procedures

About You

You don't need previous industry experience to apply. What matters most is your attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn.

You'll ideally be:

• Passionate about working outdoors
• Interested in sports, turf, horticulture or hands-on work
• Reliable, hardworking and eager to learn
• Able to work effectively as part of a team
• Comfortable working in all weather conditions
• Professional and able to interact with a wide range of people

You already have, or are willing to obtain:

• White Card
• Working With Children Check
• Driver's licence
