This role is primarily office -based, with the flexibility to work from home 1-2 days per week. Travel to different GBN offices will be required, as will attending client meetings and industry events.

 At Green by Nature (GBN), we’re shaping greener, more sustainable places across Australia and New Zealand. We’re looking for a motivated Business Development Executive to join our high-performing team, working closely with our Business Development Manager (BDM) and Operations teams to drive growth and strengthen client partnerships.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with business development experience who thrives on collaboration, organisation, creativity, resilience, and problem solving — helping teams succeed in a dynamic environment.

What you’ll do

  • Support sales growth – contribute to achieving annual revenue targets and building a healthy pipeline of major new opportunities.
  • Build relationships – manage accurate CRM (HubSpot) data, assist with client engagement, and support external stakeholder connections.
  • Enable strategy – contribute to strategic planning, market research, and insights to inform business growth.
  • Boost capability – help develop high-quality sales materials, proposals, and tools that lift our sales and marketing effectiveness.
  • Collaborate widely – work closely across Operations, Marketing, and BD teams to ensure alignment and knowledge sharing.
  • Track performance – maintain accurate reporting on funnel and pipeline activity to monitor progress and performance.

What you’ll bring

  • A proactive, positive, and collaborative mindset.
  • 3+ years in business development support, with proven experience in a high-performance team.
  • Hands-on CRM skills (HubSpot preferred).
  • Strong communication, organisation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strategic thinking with developing sales acumen.
  • Proficiency in MS 365 (Teams, SharePoint).
