EOI - Tractor Operators

We are currently seeking Expressions of Interest from experienced Tractor Operators to join our teams delivering roadside vegetation maintenance across the Mornington, Peninsula, Casey and Cardinia areas.

This is a great opportunity for experienced operators who are confident working in roadside environments and operating tractors with a range of vegetation maintenance attachments.

About the Role

As a Tractor Operator, you will be responsible for carrying out roadside vegetation and grounds maintenance activities safely and efficiently. You will operate tractors fitted with slashing, reach mowing and other specialist attachments, helping maintain roadsides, verges and surrounding vegetation to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate tractors and associated attachments for roadside vegetation maintenance.
• Undertake slashing, reach mowing and general vegetation management.
• Complete pre-start checks and basic daily equipment inspections.
• Work safely around roads, traffic, pedestrians and other team members.
• Identify and report hazards, equipment issues and maintenance requirements.
• Follow established safety procedures, traffic management requirements and work instructions.
• Maintain a high standard of workmanship and productivity across allocated areas.

About You

To be successful, you will ideally have:

• Previous tractor operating experience, particularly within roadside vegetation maintenance.
• Experience using slashing, reach mowing and similar tractor attachments.
• Confidence operating machinery in roadside and public environments.
• A strong understanding of safe machinery operation and WHS requirements.
• Current Driver Licence.
• White Card and relevant machinery tickets/licences are highly regarded.
• Traffic management qualifications or experience working around traffic would be advantageous.
• A reliable, safety-focused and team-oriented approach.

Opportunities may be available across the Mornington Peninsula, Casey and Cardinia areas.
