Are you passionate about preparing high-quality cricket wickets and producing playing surfaces that perform at their best?

Green by Nature is seeking an experienced Cricket Curator to take ownership of the preparation, presentation and ongoing maintenance of cricket wickets and associated sports turf areas at one of our premier sporting facilities in Sydney's northern region.

This is an opportunity to specialise in cricket surface management, working with a supportive team while having the autonomy to influence wicket preparation and turf performance throughout the season.

About the Role

As Cricket Curator, you will play a key role in delivering safe, consistent and high-performing cricket surfaces. From pre-season renovations through to match-day preparation, you'll be responsible for maintaining wickets and outfields to the highest standard.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Cricket wicket preparation and maintenance
• Mowing, rolling, irrigation, fertilising and turf health management
• Seasonal renovations and surface improvement programs
• Preparing playing surfaces for training sessions and match days
• Monitoring surface performance and implementing proactive maintenance practices
• Operating and maintaining turf machinery and specialist equipment
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with industry best practice

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll bring:

• Previous experience preparing and maintaining cricket wickets
• Strong knowledge of sports turf management practices
• Experience operating turf maintenance equipment
• A keen eye for detail and pride in producing quality playing surfaces
• The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
• A current driver's licence

Desirable

• Certificate III in Sports Turf Management, Parks & Gardens or similar
• Chemical accreditation
• Experience within schools, councils, sporting venues or elite turf environments
