Brushcutting and Mowing Team Leader

About the Role

As a Brushcutting and Mowing Team Leader, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing green spaces across our various council-controlled roadsides and open spaces within Brisbane.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, has a keen eye for detail, and takes pride in their work.

Hourly rates are above award and dependent on experience

• Operate various mowing equipment safely and efficiently
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment
• Ensure lawns and green spaces are mowed to a high standard
• Assist with other grounds keeping tasks as needed
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures

What are we looking for?

• Minimum 3 years experience in brushcutting & mowing
• Valid Manual Drivers Licence
• White Card
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and the sun
• Strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks efficiently and to the highest standards
