Mowing Operator - Roadside

About the Role

As a Mowing Operator, you will be responsible for undertaking routine maintenance works in Council controlled parks, reserves and selected roadsides.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, has a keen eye for detail and takes pride in their work.

• Ability to operate front deck mowers or Zero Turn Mowers and Push Mowers and brush cutters
• Perform routine prestart checks on your daily equipment
• Ensure lawns and green spaces are maintained to a high standard
• Complete horticultural tasks as required based our contract
• Follow and practice safety protocols and procedures

 About You

• Must hold a Valid C Class Manual (C) Licence
• Experience in Horticulture, lawn care and maintenance
• Knowledge or herbicide applications and techniques
• Strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks efficiently and to the highest standards
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
• Ride on Mower experience of Council Controlled sites will be highly regarded
• Current White Card and Working with Children check or willingness to obtain
• Willingness to obtain a National Police Check
