Experienced Spray Technician

As a Spray Technician, you will play a key role in enhancing and maintaining green spaces along major commercial areas, council-controlled roadsides, and open spaces. You will ensure the safe and effective application of chemicals, complying with all safety protocols and environmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and apply pesticides, herbicides, and fertilisers to designated areas.
• Apply chemicals for weed control and eradication.
• Operate and maintain spray equipment following safety standards
• Keep accurate records of chemical applications and ensure compliance with local regulations
• Identify and report weed infestations.
• Remove weeds mechanically when necessary.
• Conduct routine litter clean-up and report any damage or issues found.
• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of team members, and the public during the application of chemicals.

About You

• Previous experience in weed control and spraying
• Valid ACDC licence
• Valid Manual Drivers Licence
• White Card
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team and/or individually
• Be punctual and reliable
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions ranging from hot summer days to cooler winter months
• Strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks efficiently and to the highest standards
