We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Sous Chef to join the team at the Grand View Hotel, we offer a range of delicious meals utilizing fresh and seasonal produce, specialising in quality.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Sous Chef, your day-to-day duties include assisting the Head Chef in maintaining a smooth and efficient kitchen operation, ensuring that meals are of high quality and prepared professionally along with monitoring younger kitchen staff. 

  • Lead and inspire the kitchen team to deliver high-quality dishes.
  • Develop innovative menus and ensure culinary excellence.
  • Manage kitchen operations, including inventory and cost control.
  • Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar leadership role.
  • Strong culinary skills and a passion for creating delicious food.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or higher.
