Grand View Hotel is seeking a Cook or Chef to join the team! Using only the freshest local produce, our restaurant is well known for its diverse and modern cuisine.

As a Cook / Chef, your day to day duties will include assisting the Head Chef and Sous Chef with:

• Preparing and cooking food
• Portioning food, placing it on plates, and adding garnishes and sauces
• Ensuring all meals are of high quality and are prepared in a timely manner
• Utilising a variety of fresh, frozen and prepared ingredients to prepare, cook and present a range of dishes according to a seasonal menu
• Practicing effective stock rotation and wastage minimisation procedures
• Assisting our team in maintaining an efficient and proactive kitchen operation 
• Assisting with menu changes when required
