Lead a well-known premium venue in the Whitsundays region of QLD! You’ll manage all core operations and drive success in the venue, overseeing bars, bistro, gaming, functions and entertainment. Your leadership will be key to maintaining high service standards, driving business performance, and fostering a positive team culture in this dynamic setting. All this, with just a short drive to Airlie Beach, Mackay and the stunning Whitsundays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team.
  • Oversee daily operations and all departments, ensuring a seamless guest experience.
  • Drive revenue growth through innovative strategies, creating unique events and exceptional customer service.
  • Manage budgets and financial reporting, ensuring cost controls are in place.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and health & safety requirements.
  • Foster relationships with the local community and enhance the hotel's reputation.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience as a Venue Manager or in a senior leadership role within the hospitality industry.
  • Current QLD RSA, RSG, RMLV, Approved Manager, CLO, Gaming Nominee Training (or ability to obtain).
  • Ability to build strong relationships within the local community and proactively identify and develop new business opportunities.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience in budgeting and forecasting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead by example and inspire your team to deliver excellence.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with a passion for hospitality.
