About Us
Kinyara Health is a business with a unique mission: to keep personal, local care alive for ageing Australians and people living with disability - helping individuals find their forever home care within one of our remarkable, community‑founded brands across New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia.
In the face of significant industry reform, we’ve doubled down on this commitment. As a result, Kinyara has grown at pace - expanding into the hearts and homes of more Australians, while staying true to the local care that defines us.
Our growing group operates through a distinctive service model, where long‑established community businesses (some with legacies of up to 45 years) have their histories and connections honoured. These local teams are supported by shared services and a technology‑forward approach that strengthens consistency and sustainability - without ever compromising client experience or community connection.
Through growth and transition, we remain deeply anchored to our purpose, quality standards and culture - creating an environment that attracts thoughtful, capable people who are motivated to do meaningful work and make a genuine impact.
About The Role
This is a unique opportunity to lead one of the most important teams in our growing organisation.
As our first Care Consultation Manager, you'll lead our national team of phone and field-based Care Consultants, supporting people and families as they navigate one of life's biggest decisions - choosing the right care and support to remain living independently at home.
While you'll be responsible for driving growth outcomes, success really comes through coaching people to have better conversations, building trust with clients, and ensuring every recommendation is grounded in genuine care, empathy and expertise. You'll help shape a best-practice care consultation approach, develop a team of high-performing consultants, and strengthen the systems, processes and operating rhythms that support sustainable growth.
Working closely with both Growth and Operations leaders, you'll play a key role in ensuring every client's journey is seamless - from their first enquiry through to service commencement.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading, coaching and developing a national team of phone and field-based Care Consultants.
- Embedding a consistent, client-first care consultation approach grounded in trust, empathy and advocacy.
- Driving growth and conversion outcomes through coaching, capability building and continuous improvement.
- Supporting consultants in navigating complex client needs and delivering expert guidance.
- Strengthening and streamlining intake-to-service processes to create a seamless client experience.
- Using data, insights and reporting to identify opportunities, remove barriers and improve performance.
- Building strong partnerships across Growth, Operations and other key stakeholders to achieve shared outcomes.
- Championing a high-performance, values-led culture while developing future capability and leadership within the team.
Location: This role is based in Melbourne. You can work from any of our offices -Tullamarine, Balaclava or Carrum Downs, with travel to each site as required and flexibility to work from home.
About You

You may have led sales, advisory, intake, customer experience or care consultation teams previously, and you're energised by helping others grow, improving the way things work, and creating consistently great experiences. You're comfortable balancing performance targets with empathy and know that the best outcomes come from understanding people's needs and guiding them with confidence.
Our ideal candidate will also bring:
- Experience leading and developing high-performing teams in a sales, consultation, advisory, intake or client-facing environment.
- A strong track record of coaching and developing people to achieve exceptional outcomes.
- Experience driving operational improvement, performance uplift and sustainable growth.
- The ability to influence, collaborate and build credibility across a broad range of stakeholders.
- Strong commercial judgement combined with a genuine commitment to client outcomes.
- High emotional intelligence, resilience and a values-led approach to leadership.
