About Us

Kinyara Health is a fast-growing boutique homecare group, operating six community-established home support businesses across Australia – each one inspired by the hearts and personal stories of their founders.

We’re on an ambitious growth journey, driven by a clear mission to deliver high-quality in-home care, expanding our impact in the community.

About The Role

We’re looking for a capable and experienced People and Culture Advisor - someone with strong HR foundations, confident in their judgement, curious and ambitious to grow. You’ll be working across a mix of people matters, from performance and conduct to award queries, policy and safety.

This is a role where you’ll be trusted to run with things. You’ll need to be comfortable working across different issues at once, balancing practical problem-solving with a calm, people-first approach. You’ll also play a key role in shaping the employee experience across our growing and geographically spread workforce. If you thrive on variety, growth and impact then this is a role for you.

This role involves:

  • Providing practical advice: You’ll be the go-to for people queries, policy interpretation and award questions, giving clear advice that supports both our leaders and our teams.
  • Managing complex matters: From performance conversations to employee conduct, you’ll partner with managers and key stakeholders to resolve issues fairly, consistently and promptly.
  • Improving how we work: You’ll help refine how we do things - from documents to processes and systems - always looking to make the employee experience smoother and more consistent.
  • Supporting safety and wellbeing: You’ll champion safety and wellbeing, acting as an advocate for safe practices and supporting in injury management and mitigation
  • Building meaningful relationships: You’ll work closely with a diverse and geographically spread workforce, adjusting your approach as needed and earning trust along the way.
  • Balancing detail and big picture: Whether you’re managing documentation, advising on legislation or contributing to broader projects, you’ll maintain a strong handle on the detail without losing sight of practical outcomes.
  • Thinking ahead: You’ll spot potential risks, patterns or issues early and work proactively to support leaders in addressing them.
  • Working independently: You’ll have support when you need it, but this is a role for someone who’s confident running their own day and backing their own decisions.

About You

You’re an experienced HR or P&C Advisor with solid generalist experience. You know how to support people through both everyday challenges and more complex situations. You don’t need to be the loudest voice in the room - but you’re confident in your approach, clear in your communication and thoughtful in your judgement.

You will also have:

  • Experience in a P&C or HR advisory role, ideally in an award-covered or operational environment
  • Strong understanding of Australian employment law and people-related compliance
  • Confidence managing employee matters from start to resolution
  • Good instincts and sound judgement - you know when to act, when to ask, and when to listen
  • Ability to build trust quickly and work well across a range of personalities and roles
  • Organised and detail-focused, with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Comfortable working with geographically dispersed teams and adjusting your approach to suit the audience
  • A mindset that always looks for ways to improve the experience and the outcome
  • A car and driver licence – travel to our three Victorian offices involved
  • Police Check (or willingness to obtain)

If you’ve worked in a fast-paced or values-led environment, or supported mobile workforces before, you’ll bring useful insight - but we’re more interested in your capability, curiosity and people sense.

About The Good Stuff

  • Hybrid working – flexible arrangements to suit your lifestyle
  • Interstate travel opportunities to work in our NSW offices
  • Gain insight into the hugely important homecare sector
  • A supportive work environment that encourages learning and development
  • Flat organisational structure with opportunities for support directly from our CEO
  • The chance to be part at the forefront of pioneering Kinyara Health’s success
