Senior Contract Administrator – Commercial Construction

With multiple high-end commercial and lifestyle projects underway and 8+ new resorts launching in 2025, we’re now seeking an experienced, detail-driven Senior Contract Administrator to join our Commercial Construction Division, supporting the successful delivery of architecturally designed luxury resort infrastructure.

About the Role

Reporting to the Commercial Operations Manager, you’ll be responsible for the end-to-end commercial and contractual management of a wide variety of projects—from wellness centres and pool houses to country clubs and summer houses.

You'll work across both pre- and post-contract stages, ensuring cost control, compliance, and high-quality delivery across the board.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing tenders, subcontractor procurement & negotiations
  • Preparing and reviewing subcontracts, variations, progress claims & payments
  • Developing scopes of work and construction documentation
  • Maintaining procurement schedules, budget reports, and financial forecasts
  • Liaising with suppliers, consultants, site teams, and estimating
  • Administering contracts in accordance with project and legal requirements
  • Supporting risk identification and mitigation throughout the build process

About You

You’re a confident, commercially minded professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-standards environment. You’re proactive, collaborative, and known for staying ahead of challenges.

You’ll bring:

  • 5+ years’ experience in commercial contract administration
  • Proven leadership and mentoring skills
  • Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or Construction Law
  • Deep understanding of Australian Standard contracts, NCC, and relevant legislation
  • Proven ability to interpret architectural, structural and services drawings/specifications
  • Proficiency with construction software (ideally CUBIT, Databuild, and digital document platforms)
  • Exceptional organisational and stakeholder management skills
