We are seeking an experienced Leading Hand to manage rectification works at our Lake Cathie site on a 6-month contract. This role is focused on the proper reconstruction of retaining walls and ensuring the correct application of waterproofing systems. This work must be done right — there’s no room for compromise.

About the Role:

You will oversee critical structural remediation, with a strong emphasis on quality control, attention to detail, and getting the job done properly the first time. This role suits a hands-on leader with solid technical knowledge and a proactive approach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise rectification of retaining walls to meet engineering and construction standards
• Ensure waterproofing is applied correctly and will stand the test of time
• Coordinate day-to-day site activities and subcontractor workflows
• Maintain site safety, compliance, and high workmanship standards
• Communicate effectively with site management, engineers, and trades

What We’re Looking For:

• Demonstrated experience in rectification or construction of retaining walls
• Strong knowledge of waterproofing methods and industry standards
• Ability to read and interpret plans and technical drawings
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
• Commitment to quality and doing things properly — no shortcuts

Contract Details:

• Duration: 6-month fixed-term contract
• Location: Lake Cathie, NSW
