GemLife is currently seeking a Storeperson with general labouring to join our residential construction crew at our Logan site. There's plenty of work ahead in the Logan area – we expect several years of ongoing projects at this site alone.
About the role
We are currently seeking an experienced Storeperson to join our residential construction team located at our project in Logan on the Gold Coast. This is an ideal role for a person who has experience in managing stock plus has general labouring skills to cover a range of duties including manual handling, stores duties and assisting tradesmen.
Primary duties will be:
- Unloading, unpacking, and receipting incoming stock and materials.
- Checking both incoming and outgoing goods for accuracy and quality.
- Managing stock/inventory control (including establishing processes).
- General labourer duties.
- Packaging of all outgoing orders.
- Ensure that a clean and safe working environment is upheld.
About You
- General warehouse and/or stocktaking experience.
- A knowledge of residential construction or a construction background would be great but not essential.
- General Construction Industry - White Card.
- Current Australian Driver Licence.
- Excellent time management and communication skills.
- Enthusiasm and be results driven.
- Fit and capable of physical labour.
An immediate start is required, and an attractive wages package will be offered to the successful candidate based on skills and experience. We will also upskill the right candidate with a Dogging ticket.
