Your Day-to-Day Will Include
- Preparing detailed cost plans across all stages: Concept, Budget, Construction and Prepare Detailed Construction Budget Estimates
- Supporting cost-effective design through the final development phase
- Analysing risks and opportunities alongside the senior leadership team
- Maintaining and building costing archives and pricing databases (CUBIT) alongside our cost planning team, maintain our costing library with live rates
- Collaborating with design consultants and internal project teams
- Helping develop and standardise QA Build’s estimating and procurement systems
You’ll Bring
- 8+ years in commercial estimating
- Strong cost planning and tendering experience (CUBIT highly regarded)
- Great communication and stakeholder management skills
- The ability to interpret architectural, interior and services drawings
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a hunger to grow
