Electrician

We are looking for a qualified Electrician to join our team, ideally with some experience in the installation of new homes, Commercial Electrical, Solar Panels, Security installations and maintenance, Automation, Civil Works and/or Comms.

QA Build Solar & Electrical is seeking a qualified Electrician to join our expanding team. This is a hands-on, field-based role working across residential, commercial, and solar projects.

Responsibilities:

• Installing, commissioning and wiring of New Homes
• Installing commissioning and wiring of large commercial buildings
• Running a team of Electricians and Apprentices onsite
• Perform Solar and C&I Battery installations.
• Running and fitting off communications wiring
• Installing and commissioning servers
• Security systems installation and fit off.
• Installation and fit off for access control systems. 
• Collaborate with builders and owners to provide the best working solution that meets Australian Standards.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and best practices to ensure a secure work environment.
• Solar installations 
• General maintenance of solar systems
• Fault finding solar systems.
• Set up monitoring of solar systems.
• Switchboard Upgrades
• Excellent Customer Service
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• High quality of workmanship

Requirements:

• Current Electrical Licence QLD
• CEC Solar Installation Accreditation advantageous but not essential.
• Current Driver's License
• Current OHS induction card (White card)
• Working at heights certificate advantageous
• Excellent communication, customer service skills and work ethic are essential.
• Company vehicle and tools of the trade
