Technical Business Analyst/Tester | Full-time | Tech-savvy & collaborative

Looking for a role where your communication skills are just as important as your technical know-how?

At GemLife, we’re not just looking for a smart problem-solver — we want someone who’s confident working across teams, explaining complex ideas simply, and driving technology projects that make a real difference.

This role suits a Technical Business Analyst/Tester who thrives in a collaborative environment, particularly someone who knows how to navigate the construction or property space and understands the importance of good documentation, integration, and user-friendly solutions.

What you'll be doing

  • Working closely with internal stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into tech solutions
  • Taking full ownership of requirements gathering, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Supporting the integration and optimisation of document management systems, Microsoft 365, and other platforms
  • Using data to drive smart decisions and implementing AI automation where it adds value
  • Providing technical support, training, and documentation to ensure smooth adoption of new tools
  • Working with vendors and internal teams to troubleshoot and maintain systems
  • Leading with curiosity, insight, and a proactive mindset

What you’ll bring

  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Analyst in a commercial or construction-related environment
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills — able to translate between technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience with SharePoint, SQL Server, Azure IAM, and Microsoft 365
  • Proven ability in test planning, TDD, and API development
  • Data-savvy, analytical, and confident using data to inform decisions
  • Experience with AI-driven automation is a strong plus
  • A collaborative approach and a desire to improve systems and how people use them
  • Experience with Agile, and a good grasp of cybersecurity best practices
