GemLife is searching for an experienced Commercial Site Supervisor to help deliver our landmark Moreton Bay Country Club - a premium, resort-style community hub that will become the heart of our newest over-50s lifestyle resort.

About the Role

As the Commercial Site Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day onsite coordination of this significant commercial project. The development includes a large-format, resort-style Country Club precinct that brings together wellness, dining, recreation, and premium community spaces - all delivered across two expansive, meticulously designed buildings.

Reporting to the Site Manager Commercial, you’ll oversee site operations, subcontractors, safety, scheduling, and quality to ensure smooth and efficient delivery. This role requires a proactive leader who thrives in complex commercial environments and can maintain momentum across multiple work fronts.

You will manage:

• Daily supervision of trades, labourers, and subcontractors
• Onsite safety, inductions, and WHS compliance
• Construction progress, sequencing, and workflow
• Coordination with Project Managers and contract administrators
• Quality assurance, inspections, and defect management
• Site logistics, materials, deliveries, and equipment
• Maintaining site presentation and ensuring adherence to GemLife standards

Your focus: keeping the project moving safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality.

What You’ll Need

• Trade qualification (carpentry or similar preferred)
• QBCC Site Supervisor or Builder License (Commercial) – essential
• Proven experience supervising commercial construction projects
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Excellent planning, sequencing, and problem-solving abilities
• Solid WHS knowledge and commitment to safe work practices
• Competence using construction management software
• A proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to work autonomously
• Valid driver’s license
