Your New Role

The Senior UX Engineer leads the transformation to modern React and API-driven UX from legacy systems. You will possess expertise in frontend development, UX design, and migration. You will champion modern technologies and guide migration. Collaboration with architects and developers is key, while working towards a gradual shift to a modern tech stack.

• Migration Leadership: Champion the shift to React/TypeScript, develop migration strategies, manage projects, and lead technical discussions.
• Development Excellence: Lead UI development, integrate with legacy systems, implement testing, and design performant applications.
• Collaboration & Mentorship: Mentor developers, collaborate on API integration, conduct code reviews, and create documentation.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay current with frontend technologies, research new tools, and improve development processes.
• Skills & Experience: 7+ years in React/TypeScript, legacy system experience, API integration, and technical leadership.

Your Skills and Experience

• State Management: Experience with modern state management solutions (Redux, Zustand, Context API, etc.).
• CSS Frameworks: Familiarity with modern CSS frameworks (Tailwind, Styled Components, etc.) and component libraries.
• Cloud Technologies: Exposure to AWS cloud technologies and services.
• Caching Solutions: Exposure to caching technologies such as Redis and Memcached.
• Performance Optimization: Experience with frontend performance optimization and modern build tools.
