About the Role

This isn’t a typical trade role. As our Trade Initiatives Manager, you’ll sit between partnerships, systems and strategic delivery. You’ll lead the execution of high-impact trade initiatives while supporting the rollout of key platforms that enable growth, improve partner experience and streamline internal processes.

From shaping smarter sales strategies to embedding functionality into our trade platforms, you’ll play a key role in helping the business scale and evolve its trade function. You’ll work closely with our partners, project teams & sales teams.

 

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead trade-driven initiatives that support new partnerships, product enablement and revenue growth
  • Represent the Trade team in platform and process transformation projects, ensuring functionality aligns with commercial needs
  • Partner with project managers, account managers and tech stakeholders to shape systems that support partner engagement and sales outcomes
  • Support the rollout of new tools and platforms by providing business requirements, insights and functional feedback
  • Lead the activation of trade sales initiatives, building partnerships, launching product and driving conversion across priority segments
  • Identify opportunities to grow distribution and improve bookability through smart packaging and commercial alignment
  • Monitor performance, competitor activity and channel trends to inform strategic decision-making and future trade development

 

What You’ll Need to Succeed

  • Experience in trade, tourism or distribution, ideally in a hybrid role that spans commercial execution and operational delivery
  • A process-oriented mindset with the ability to see how tech and tools can drive better outcomes
  • Confident working with internal project teams, vendors and stakeholders to ensure trade is well represented
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills – you’ll be translating ideas into action across many teams
  • A strong understanding of trade partner expectations and how to build long-term commercial success
  • Comfortable managing multiple initiatives with competing priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Collaborative, creative and not afraid to roll up your sleeves to make things happen
