The Role

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Electrical Engineer to join our Brisbane based engineering team.

Working under the guidance of experienced engineers, you will contribute to the design and delivery of electrical systems for mineral processing projects while building your technical capability and industry knowledge.

Key Duties

  • Assist with the design and development of electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, communications and control systems
  • Support electrical engineering calculations including load calculations, equipment sizing and voltage drop assessments
  • Contribute to the preparation of electrical drawings, specifications and technical documentation
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary engineering and design teams
  • Participate in technical studies and project activities across a range of commodities
  • Develop proficiency in industry engineering software and design tools
  • Participate in DRA's structured graduate development and mentoring program

You Will Have

  • Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) or equivalent
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
  • Interest in mining, minerals processing and industrial projects
  • Exposure to ETAP or similar software is advantageous
