Reporting to the Mechanical Engineering Manager, you will be working in a highly experienced team supporting a variety of critical mineral projects.

The role is offered on a full-time permanent basis at our Perth office.

About the Role:

  • Lead the detailed design of mechanical systems including conveyors, crushers, mills, pumps and material handling systems
  • Develop engineering drawings, specifications and calculations, ensuring accuracy, compliance and quality
  • Perform mechanical analysis using engineering software to optimise safety, reliability and cost effectiveness
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate mechanical design into overall project delivery
  • Engage with stakeholders to define requirements and present fit-for-purpose solutions
  • Review vendor documentation and support procurement, bid evaluations and vendor selection
  • Ensure compliance with Australian standards and relevant industry codes
  • Identify and manage technical risks and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Provide site support across construction, commissioning and operations as required

About you:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering (accredited by Engineers Australia or equivalent)
  • Experience in mineral processing or mining projects (design & construct environment)
  • Strong knowledge of Australian standards and industry codes
  • Proven ability to deliver against schedule, budget and quality targets
  • Working rights in Australia
  • Experience with base metals and/or rare earth minerals
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams
