Key duties:

  • Structural design of materials handling and processing facility structures such as conveyors, bins, and hydrometallurgical process plants.
  • Development of cost-effective designs that are project-appropriate and to the clients’ needs.
  • Provision of technical support and guidance to the drafting team during the preparation of preliminary and detailed design models / documents.
  • Maintenance and fostering relationships within the DRA structural engineering team, other members of the overall DRA multidisciplinary team, clients, and contractors.

You will have:

  • Experience using advanced analysis tools such as Strand7 would be an advantage.
  • Excellent attitude, team focus and commitment towards safety.

If you are interested but don’t think you meet all of the criteria outlined above, we encourage you to still apply. Our structural engineering team includes several highly capable and experienced members who can provide support and guidance to help bridge any skill gaps for individuals who are otherwise well-suited for the role.
