Engineer- Structural

Structural Engineer - Reporting to the Structural Engineering Manager you will be responsible for the structural design of process plants and their associated infrastructure across various projects.

The role is offered on a full-time permanent basis at our Perth CBD office.

Key duties

• Structural design of materials handling and processing facility structures such as conveyors, bins and process buildings
• Develop cost effective designs that are project appropriate and to the clients’ needs
• Provide technical support and guidance to the drafting team whilst supervising the preparation of preliminary and detailed designs
• Providing technical support for all structural engineering work as required
• Maintain and foster relationships with the DRA multidisciplinary team, clients and contractors
• Conduct site inspections during construction
• Regional structural inspections and reporting on brownfields structures, and developing design solution to on-site structural issues

You will have

• Tertiary Degree – Structural / Civil Engineering or related field - Essential 
• CPEng/Registered Status or working towards - Advantageous
• 3+ years working in an engineering detailed design environment
• Proficiency in structural analysis software such as Spacegass or Strand7 - Advantageous
• Well-developed communication skills (written and verbal)
• Excellent attitude, team focus and commitment towards safety
