About the role

DRA are currently looking for experienced Maintenance Electrician to assist our team on a coal processing site in Central Queensland. This is a full time, max term (September 2025) opportunity based on a 7/7 roster Dayshift Only, with accommodation provided. Whilst Rockhampton and Townsville are our primary FIFO hubs we encourage and will consider applicants from all regional Queensland communities.

As the Maintenance Electrician on site, you will carry be responsible for the day to day up keep of our CHPP including but not limited to;

• Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance tasks as required
• Maintain CHPP equipment as requested during scheduled maintenance periods
• Housekeeping and general maintenance of all areas of the CHPP and Train Loadout

Role requirements

• Current QLD Electrical License & Trade Qualification
• Current LVR/CPR
• Previous experience within a CHPP environment - highly regarded
• Current Australian Drivers License - Essential
• Current Standard 11 - Highly regarded
• Current Coal Board Medical - Highly regarded
• Demonstrated safety focus with the ability to work safely and effectively as part of a dynamic team
