About the Role

DRA are aiming to build on the solid core team of Designers to lead future work across a wide range of commodities all over the world, from concept studies to detail design. We are currently seeking skilled Designers for the following positions;

  • Senior Designers & Designers - Mechanical

You will be involved with a diverse range of projects from concept studies, detailed design, procurement, construction, commissioning within the mining and minerals processing sector.

Brief Duties

  • Produce models and detailed technical drawings, in accordance with standards, policies and procedures.
  • Use your initiative and experience to deliver practical layout solutions and designs
  • Liaise daily with Project Managers, Designers, Engineers and clients.
  • Provide technical guidance and leadership to junior team members.
  • Demonstrate a high standard of personal safety and safe design practices.

About You

  • Ideally, 5+ years' of design experience in minerals processing or mining with strong knowledge of Gold and Rare Earths.
  • Well-developed communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Excellent attitude, team focus and commitment towards safety
  • Proficiency in MicroStation Aecosim v8i Select Series 10 and Open Buildings Connect Edition design software highly desirable
  • Relevant Diploma or Associate Degree - within relevant specialism
  • Innovative thinker with the ability to work autonomously to deadlines
  •  Current Rights to Work in Australia
