As a Junior Designer - Structural, reporting to the Regional Manager – NSW, you will be responsible for supporting the design and development of structural components across various infrastructure projects. 

The role is offered on a full-time permanent basis at our Newcastle CBD office.

Key duties

• Assist in the development of structural designs.
• Create detailed drawings and models of structural components.
• Utilise CAD design software to create 2D and 3D models.
• Ensure drawings comply with applicable codes and standards.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand project requirements, objectives, and constraints
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, to integrate structural designs. 

About you

• Cert III Engineering – Completed or In Progress - desirable
• Understanding of structural design principles and familiarity with design software
• MicroStation v8i (SS6) experience
• SMP experience
• Tailings pipeline experience
• Bauxite/Alumina experience
• Bowen basin site experience - desirable
