As a Junior Designer - Structural, reporting to the Regional Manager – NSW, you will be responsible for supporting the design and development of structural components across various infrastructure projects.
The role is offered on a full-time permanent basis at our Newcastle CBD office.
Key duties
- Assist in the development of structural designs.
- Create detailed drawings and models of structural components.
- Utilise CAD design software to create 2D and 3D models.
- Ensure drawings comply with applicable codes and standards.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand project requirements, objectives, and constraints
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, to integrate structural designs.
About you
- Cert III Engineering – Completed or In Progress - desirable
- Understanding of structural design principles and familiarity with design software
- MicroStation v8i (SS6) experience
- SMP experience
- Tailings pipeline experience
- Bauxite/Alumina experience
- Bowen basin site experience - desirable
