The Role

We are seeking a Senior/Lead Electrical Engineer to join our Brisbane engineering team.

Working within a highly experienced group of professionals, you will be responsible for leading technical delivery, mentoring junior engineers and ensuring high-quality project outcomes.

Key Duties

  • Lead electrical engineering activities across studies, detailed design and project execution phases
  • Review and approve engineering calculations, documentation and design deliverables
  • Manage scope, schedule and cost performance for electrical work packages
  • Provide mentoring and technical guidance to Graduate and Electrical Engineers
  • Support proposal development and technical evaluations
  • Coordinate client, vendor and multidisciplinary engineering interfaces
  • Contribute to commissioning and operational readiness activities
  • Promote engineering quality, safety and continuous improvement initiatives

You Will Have

  • Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical Engineering) or equivalent
  • Extensive experience in mineral processing or industrial project environments
  • Strong technical knowledge of LV/MV systems and electrical infrastructure
  • Experience across project development, engineering and commissioning phases
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Demonstrated mentoring and leadership capability
  • RPEQ registration or progress toward registration desirable
