The Role - Structural Engineer

As a Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for the analysis, design and optimisation of structural systems across a range of projects. Working within a collaborative engineering environment, you will contribute to detailed design activities, provide practical engineering solutions and help ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards of safety, quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce detailed design documentation, including calculations, specifications and reports.
• Perform structural analysis and design using industry-standard software.
• Develop safe, reliable and cost-effective structural solutions. Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to integrate structural requirements into project delivery.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand project needs and provide technical guidance.
• Participate in design reviews, peer reviews and lessons learned activities.
• Support and mentor junior engineers.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, codes and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to a culture of safety, quality and continuous improvement.

About You

Strong understanding of structural engineering principles including statics, dynamics, structural stability and mechanics of materials.

We would love to hear from you if you have:

• Degree qualification in Structural or Civil Engineering.
• Approximately 3+ years of experience within a detailed design engineering environment working on mineral processing and mining projects.
• Strong understanding of structural engineering principles including statics, dynamics, structural stability and mechanics of materials.
• Experience analysing and designing structural systems for safety, durability and efficiency.
• Proficiency with Strand7 and SpaceGass.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• A collaborative approach and willingness to support and mentor others.
• Membership with Engineers Australia or a similar professional body is desirable.
• RPEQ (or working towards obtaining registration) is highly regarded.
