About the Role:

We currently have an opportunity for skilled Senior or Piping Designer to join our established team based in Perth. Working alongside our highly successful and dynamic team, you'll have the opportunity to refine your skills across a variety exciting projects.

Our ideal candidate would be technically savvy with exposure to similar projects within the Mining & Minerals Processing industry. They will be good at expressing themselves, self-motivated and have a desire to learn and grow.

Key duties:

  • Produce models and detailed technical drawings, in accordance with standards, policies and procedures
  • Communicate with the project team, provide updates, raise issues and attend team meetings
  • Deliver and contribute to practical solutions
  • Ensure project time and cost are met - monitor effectiveness of designs, scheduling of work, resource requirements and review compliance with project execution plan (schedule) and client expectations
  • Provide technical guidance and leadership to junior team members
  • Demonstrate high standard of personal safety and safe design practices

You will have:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification – beneficial not essential
  • Ideally, 5+ years' of design experience in minerals processing or mining with strong knowledge of Gold and Rare Earths.
  • Well-developed communication (written and verbal) and organisational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and build relationships with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in MicroStation Design Software – Highly desirable.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft office products, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Excellent attitude, team focus and commitment towards safety.
