Your Role

You will identify and eliminate friction across the enterprise—using a combination of Lean Six Sigma discipline, automation, and AI-enabled insights—to unlock speed, efficiency and better business outcomes at scale. 

Rather than running traditional, slow-moving improvement programs, you will operate with pace and precision, using real-time data, automation tools and AI workflows to rapidly uncover bottlenecks, test solutions, and drive change where it matters most. 

This is a hands-on, high-impact role—part strategist, part operator, part problem-solver—connecting the dots across teams, systems and processes to optimise delivery at enterprise scale. 

Diagnose and remove friction at pace 

  • Rapidly identify process inefficiencies, bottlenecks and interdependencies across business workflows 
  • Use AI, process mining and automation tools to surface root causes and patterns in real time  
  • Move from “analysis” to action quickly—testing and iterating solutions in days/weeks, not months 

Design and deploy intelligent automation 

  • Build and scale automated workflows using tools such as Power Automate, RPA and AI-enabled platforms 
  • Replace manual, repetitive processes with adaptive, scalable automation solutions that improve accuracy and productivity  
  • Explore how AI-driven workflows can learn, adapt and optimise over time, not just follow rules  

Apply modern Lean Six Sigma in an AI world 

  • Use Lean Six Sigma principles (DMAIC, value stream mapping) to structure problem-solving—but 
  • Augment with AI to accelerate root cause analysis, detect bottlenecks and predict issues before they occur  
  • Drive measurable outcomes: cycle time reduction, cost efficiency, quality uplift and scalability 

 Orchestrate cross-functional problem solving 

  • Act as the connector across teams, systems and leaders to solve complex, enterprise-wide issues 
  • Bring the right people into the room at the right time to unblock delivery 
  • Navigate competing priorities and drive alignment across stakeholders with differing incentives 

 Influence and land outcomes

  • Operate with the credibility and gravitas to challenge thinking, reframe problems and drive decisions 
  • Negotiate outcomes across business units, vendors and leadership teams 
  • Translate insight into clear, actionable change that sticks 

 Build scalable ways of working 

  • Design processes that are not just optimised—but resilient, scalable and future-ready 
  • Create practical workarounds and MVP solutions where needed to maintain momentum 
  • Embed a culture of continuous improvement and automation-first thinking 

Your Experience

  • Lean Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt preferred) with real-world delivery experience 
  • Strong capability in automation tools (Power Automate, RPA, workflow tools, low-code platforms) 
  • Experience applying AI / data-driven insights to process optimisation 
  • Ability to combine structured frameworks + agile experimentation 
  • Proven ability to quickly diagnose complex problems and implement solutions 
  • Comfortable working in ambiguity—no perfect data, no perfect brief 
  • Known for delivering practical, implementable outcomes (not theoretical solutions) 
  • Exceptional stakeholder management—able to influence without authority 
  • Strong commercial acumen—connects process optimisation to business outcomes 
  • Confidence to engage and challenge senior leaders and technical teams alike 
  • Curious, highly analytical and relentlessly outcome-focused 
  • Moves fast, thinks clearly, and connects seemingly unrelated dots 
  • Thrives on solving messy, enterprise-wide problems
