Your Role

The App Portfolio Manager plays a critical role in driving the successful planning, coordination and delivery of the Flybuys App portfolio. Working closely with Product, Engineering and delivery teams, you'll provide visibility of demand, capacity, dependencies and delivery commitments, ensuring priorities are executed effectively and stakeholders have the insights needed to make informed decisions.

You'll identify risks and trade-offs, optimise delivery across squads, and lead continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen delivery practices and execution outcomes. Alongside this, you'll develop and coach a high-performing team while helping create a more predictable, transparent and efficient delivery environment.

Some key responsibilities include:

• Own app demand intake and portfolio governance across squads.
• Provide visibility of capacity, delivery commitments and constraints.
• Coordinate planning, sequencing and delivery across multiple teams.
• Identify and manage dependencies, risks and delivery impacts.
• Develop trade-off recommendations to support prioritisation and investment decisions.
• Support roadmap planning, business cases and delivery feasibility assessments.
• Deliver portfolio reporting and insights on performance, risks and capacity.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team, building capability and delivery excellence.
• Drive continuous improvement across planning, governance and delivery practices.

Your Experience

• Experience managing portfolios, programs or complex delivery environments across multiple teams.
• Strong understanding of portfolio governance, demand management and agile delivery practices.
• Proven ability to balance priorities, capacity, dependencies and risk to drive successful outcomes.
• Skilled at turning complex delivery information into clear recommendations and business insights.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and align senior leaders.
• Strong planning and coordination skills across multiple squads, initiatives and delivery streams.
• Experience supporting roadmap, prioritisation and investment decisions in fast-paced environments.
• Data-driven approach to portfolio reporting, performance tracking and decision-making.
• Proven people leadership capability, with experience coaching and developing high-performing teams.
• Highly organised, collaborative and comfortable navigating ambiguity, complexity and change.
