Your Role

As Procurement Lead, you will be responsible for providing commercial and strategic procurement direction for Flybuys. This includes being responsible for providing specialist advice to stakeholders in the planning and execution of key procurement initiatives, with a focus on achieving high quality and value sourcing outcomes for Flybuys. The Procurement Lead will also manage the Third Party Risk Management program.

The key areas of accountability in the role are:

  • Develop and implement sourcing and procurement strategies that align to Flybuys corporate strategy and adhere to Flybuys procurement principles and policies
  • Ensuring strategic procurement planning for high risk/complex contracts and projects
  • Oversee sourcing activities to ensure alignment to governance, sustainable and social procurement principles
  • Deliver end-to-end procurement process, lead contract negotiations and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to help mitigate any supply risks for Flybuys
  • Drive continuous improvement in all aspects of the procurement process
  • Support procurement governance through policy compliance, reporting and risk mitigation
  • Build relationships and collaborate with key internal stakeholders including relationship managers, security, legal and compliance teams, to ensure alignment of business objectives with procurement requirements
  • Champion best practice by delivering training and building procurement capability across Flybuys
  • Lead the Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) program
  • Develop and maintain TPRM tools, policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure consistent and effective risk management practices
  • Coordinate responses to external parties' requests for TPRM due diligence, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
  • Regularly monitor and conduct TPRM due diligence assessments for all tiers of suppliers, ensuring compliance with Flybuys standards and to Identify, assess, and mitigate associated risks. Support Modern Slavery Statement reporting and compliance

Your Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in a senior procurement role
  • A degree or specialist qualification in commerce, business or finance is required
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic sourcing with strong skills in market analysis and supplier negotiation
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders, both internal and external and the ability to build and nurture strong relationships
  • Attention to detail coupled with high level problem solving, decision-making and analysis skills
  • Proficiency in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks associated with third-party vendors
  • Experience with vendor management tools and platforms, such as UpGuard or similar systems
  • Strong understanding of security frameworks and controls including ISO 27001 & ISO 27002, SOC2 and NIST CSF
  • CISP, CISM or CISA qualifications are desirable
