Your Role
In this role you will be responsible for gathering and translating requirements, analysing data, and supporting the delivery of digital and member engagement solutions that deliver value to our members while providing the most efficient solutions to our partners.
Working closely with stakeholders, product managers, and development teams, the business analysts ensure solutions are aligned with strategic goals, member and partner needs, and operational efficiencies, while contributing to the continuous improvement our Flybuys offers engine.
What You'll Do:
- Gather and document business requirements, make recommendations to improve operational processes
- Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications
- Deliver high quality user stores, business, functional, non-functional requirements
- Defining acceptance criteria and completing acceptance criteria testing / verification.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, QA, Analytics and broader stakeholders to ensure alignment
- Complete operational administration and QA when required
- Maintain operational processes and templates
- Identify process improvements and recommend solutions to enhance member engagement
- Analyse data, performance, and processes to inform product and process enhancements that support broader business OKRs
- Assist Product Manager (PM) in translating business requirements into clear, concise, testable and accurate user stories & process flows
- Assist PM in communicating any risks, assumptions, issues or dependencies identified through the analysis process
- Assist PM in contributing to Showcases
- Support end to end testing, PVT and UAT
- Take assigned tasks and projects from concept through to implementation in line with business objectives and timelines
Your Experience
- Agile and product lifecycle knowledge
- Requirement gathering and documentation
- Write user stories and acceptance criteria
- Data analysis and reporting skills
- Experience working with cross functional teams
- Demonstrated experience delivering BA and test artifacts aligned to BABOK and Agile methodologies with 5+ years Business Analysis experience
- Ability to work with dispersed and diverse agile technology teams to deliver continuous value for our customers
- Strong communicator and interpersonal skills, including negotiation and influencing skills.
- Strong analytical skills, proven ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Strong working knowledge of relevant delivery applications i.e. Office suite, Jira / Confluence.
- Comfortable using SQL to analyse data assets and data management systems to make assessments on what data is present and how it is connected together
- Desirable: experience in the Data Product / Data Management / Data Governance space
- Strong level of flexibility with a strong ability to lead others successfully through cultural, process, system and transformational change.
- Industry certification in Agile and Business Analysis (e.g. SCRUM, SAFe, CBAP).
- Tertiary qualification in Business and/or Information Technology
