Your Role
There is no typical working week at Flybuys. But here are some of the things you will be working on, day-to-day;
- Collaborate closely with the Head of Data & Insights to shape and execute the analytics and data product roadmap, enabling Flybuys’ insights led loyalty strategy
- Lead the design and delivery of innovative, scalable analytics products that provide actionable insights to optimise the Flybuys program
- Own the product lifecycle of data and analytics solutions, ensuring they remain accurate, timely, and aligned with business priorities.
- Collaborate across the enterprise to ensure data solutions are integrated, accessible, and aligned with Flybuys’ broader data strategy.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across Flybuys’ partner network to understand their strategic goals and data needs.
- Deliver advanced customer analytics and insights that drive commercial outcomes such as increased member engagement, shopper frequency, basket expansion and sales uplift.
- Act as a trusted advisor to partners, proactively identifying opportunities for growth and innovation through data.
- Lead the evolution of Flybuys’ campaign analytics capability, driving innovation in measurement, experimentation, and insight generation.
- Translate campaign objectives into robust measurement frameworks and KPIs that align with business and partner goals.
- Deliver strategic insights and recommendations that optimise campaign performance and member and business outcomes.
- Implement and maintain best practices in analytics delivery, including frameworks for insight generation, campaign evaluation, and reporting.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure Flybuys remains a leader in analytics innovation.
- Lead, coach, and inspire a cross-functional team, fostering a culture of curiosity, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Build capability across the Data & Insights chapter, with a focus on customer and campaign analytics, data visualisation, data storytelling, and commercial insight delivery.
- Act as a visible champion for data across the business, influencing senior stakeholders and shaping strategic conversations.
- Drive team performance through clear goals, regular feedback, and a focus on outcomes.
Your Experience
- Extensive hands-on experience in analytics, data products, or insights roles, with a strong focus on customer and campaign analytics.
- Exceptional data storytelling skills – Able to translate complex data into clear, compelling narratives that resonate with diverse audiences, drive strategic decisions, and inspire action across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven experience leading cross-functional data initiatives and delivering commercial impact through analytics & data solutions.
- Strong technical skills in SQL, data visualisation (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), analytics frameworks and predictive modelling.
- Experience managing a broad and diverse set of stakeholders, setting expectations and working collaboratively at multiple levels of the organisation to get things done
- Strategic Thinker – Sees the big picture and connects analytics to business strategy and customer value.
- Influential Leader – Builds trust, inspires teams, and influences senior stakeholders with clarity and confidence.
