About the Role
This is a pure new‑business hunting role with an established national business technology provider operating in a reseller model.
This is not a potential-based role. We are looking for experienced industry BDMs who can perform from day one.
If you’ve sold copiers, document solutions, business data, telco or comms hardware into SME or enterprise environments, you’ll understand the model immediately: complex B2B sales, long sales cycles, hardware plus services, and high‑value contracts.
Ideal Background (Critical)
Priority 1 – Copier / Print (Immediate Fit)
• Copier BDMs from dealer or agent environments
• Ricoh, Canon, Fuji, Sharp, Toshiba, Xerox-style ecosystems
Priority 2 – Business Data / Communications
• Selling data, connectivity or comms solutions to businesses
• Fibre, SD‑WAN, PABX, comms or infrastructure hardware
• Experience selling via resellers, MSPs, agents or integrators

• Document management systems
• Managed services or workflow platforms sold alongside hardware
What You’ll Be Doing
• New business only
• Attending warm, pre‑booked appointments
• Prospecting and building your own pipeline
• Managing the full sales cycle end‑to‑end
• Selling tailored business solutions (hardware + services)
• Operating autonomously in a commercial, target‑driven environment
What We’re Looking For
• Proven B2B new‑business hunter
• Relevant industry experience (non‑negotiable)
• Outstanding communication skills – clear, confident and highly professional with senior decision‑makers
• Comfortable with complex solutions and long sales cycles
• Polished, client‑ready presentation
• Commercial mindset – understands revenue, margins and close rates
• Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
• Current driver’s licence
