About the role
We’re looking for a Business Teacher to join Australian Trade College North Brisbane (ATCNB). This is a full-time, permanent opportunity working with senior secondary students in a hands-on, vocational learning environment.
You’ll be delivering Certificate III in Business while helping students build practical skills and confidence for real career pathways beyond school.
What you’ll be doing
- Deliver engaging Business lessons aligned to industry outcomes
- Plan, assess, and track student progress
- Create a positive, structured classroom environment
- Support student wellbeing, engagement, and behaviour
- Keep up to date with marking, reporting and admin
- Get involved in school activities, events and wider student life
- Work closely with staff, leadership and external stakeholders
What we’re looking for
- Qualified teacher (Bachelor or Masters in Education or equivalent)
- Certificate III or higher in Business
- QCT registration (or eligible)
- TAE (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience with senior secondary students is a bonus
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Someone who enjoys working in a practical, career-focused environment
