Job Description
Our client, a leading beverage company, is currently seeking an accomplished Logistics Coordinator to join the team. Here is an overview of the role:
1) Support the company’s logistics activities including order entry, EDI processing, inventory issue discovery, data synchronization, and other order management duties
2) Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to inquiries
3) Support the relationship between the Sales Team and retailers and distributors
4) Process incoming EDI, email and fax orders
5) Provide BOL and release orders in the system to ensure timely delivery of orders and products
6) Issue invoices to customers after shipment
7) Comprehend and compare open order status against the daily sales report and report any issues
to the manager
8) Identify and resolve EDI mapping issues and upload GDSN product data to meet customer requirements
9) Support the Logistics Manager by monitoring inventory levels of products to reduce out-of-stocks and excess stock
10) Track incoming shipments with members of the Logistics Team and participate in inventory allocation strategy discussions
11) Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to customer’s inquiries and concerns
12) Report on all incidents quickly to eliminate problems and by communicating with the management regularly
13) Comply with the federal, state, and local practices including product recalls
14) Perform other duties as assigned
Critical Requirements
1) A university degree is required. Although all candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with degrees in a relevant field
2) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)
3) Recent experience in the beverage industry is strongly preferred
4) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in logistics coordination

Base Salary: Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience
