Job Description

Our client, a leading natural and organic foods company, is currently seeking an accomplished Marketing Manager to join the team. Here is an overview of the role:

1) Plan strategies and execute marketing designs and activities to establish and maintain brand presence

2) Define product strategies and roadmaps to successful placement

3) Complete SWOT analysis of brands and product lines

4) Develop sales tools and collateral

5) Undertake packaging strategies and written goals for messaging on packaging, merchandising displays, POS and secondary labels

6) Research labeling laws and regulations

7) Audit top 5 competitors annually and present summary to the Management Team

8) Develop effective product positioning in the market

9) Conduct competitive strategic analysis, consumer segmentation and consumer insight development

10) Develop a marketing and financial analysis to describe cost benefit of activity

11) Launch and oversee advertising and media planning

12) Manage external resources and consultants

13) Present the company image to community in local and industry events

14) Purchase marketable domains and maintenance of registration

15) Manage external and internal communications of above responsibilities as needed

16) Collaborate with the Sales Manager and plane strategies that drive sales and maximize performance targets in volumes and margins

17) Collaborate with the Sales Manager on customer communications and presentations, as necessary

18) Develop relationships with customers' Marketing and Advertising teams

19) Manage and maintain product performance records in marketplace

20) Create, maintain and share master advertising budget and calendar with team

21) Explore new marketing and advertising venues, including coupons and other promotional ideas

22) Create monthly consumer newsletter

23) Be responsible for all creative enhancements and the budget and return on investment

24) Create and maintain all marketing collateral, trademarks and branding packages

25) Create and Implement customer satisfaction program, include VIP coupons

26) Oversee tradeshow and event planning, convention booth, marketing and sales collateral materials and attendance

27) Oversee website maintenance, correspondence and updates

28) Create, implement and maintain an internal marketing plan and strategies to communicate company values and mission to employees

29) Maintain all filing and correspondence rules and guidelines for internal record keeping of marketing materials

30) Communicate efficiently internally/externally via emails, phone calls, meetings and conference calls

31) Manage marketing team priorities, goals and individual tasks with frequent check-in’s daily and weekly

32) Collaborate with other company managers to keep projects moving toward completion

33) Create a positive environment that improves interpersonal working relationships

34) Stay on top of multiple tasks with the ability to adapt quickly to customer requests

Critical Requirements

1) A university degree is required. Although all candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with degrees in a relevant field

2) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)

3) Recent experience in the natural and organic foods industry is strongly preferred

4) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in marketing management

Compensation and Other Details

Base Salary: Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience
