Job Description
Our client, a leading distribution company, is currently seeking an accomplished Human Resource Recruiter & Coordinator to join the team. Here is an overview of the role:
1) Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top-qualified talent to the organization
2) Source and screen resumes, check references, conduct interviews, and extend job offers
3) Onboard new hires and coordinate their integration into the organization
4) Manage employee records and ensure compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations
5) Coordinate the scheduling of third-party contractors
6) Validate third-party agency/contractor time sheets
7) Contact various department supervisors for any missed times and/or punches
8) Assist with the weekly transfer of payroll data to ADP
9) Compile internal management reports from payroll system software
10) Assist with the administrative management of benefits changes for employees
11) Verify employment status for current and past employees
12) Supervise and validate the completion of training of each hire (salaried and hourly)
13) Communicate with direct reports, co-workers, management, sales, and others in a courteous and professional manner
14) Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions
15) Prepare and coordinate employee leave of absence documents in compliance with FMLA, CFRA, and worker’s compensation laws
16) Update employee safety training programs and policies
17) Assist HR Manager with incident investigations and reporting
Critical Requirements
1) A university degree is required. Although all candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with degrees in a relevant field
2) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)
3) Recent experience in the distribution industry is strongly preferred
4) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in human resources

Base Salary: Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience
