Job Description
One of our top clients is recruiting again! They are looking for a Quality Control Technical Lead for their facility. Interested job seekers should have work experience with a highly successful and well-established confectionery manufacturer. An overview of the Quality Control Technical Lead’s responsibilities:
1) Perform daily line audits, review production process, documentation and sample analysis
2) Perform daily laboratory testing pH, water activity, color and viscosity
3) Enroll new employees by issuing forms and applications and verifying the completion
4) Ensure all production operations and procedures follow SQF standards
5) Coach, mentor and ongoing training and development of employees
6) Take the assistant lead role in all food safety and quality initiatives
7) Analyze customer complaints
8) Assist in guidance and leadership to all regulatory and third-party visits and focus on food quality and safety
9) Perform other duties as assigned
Critical Requirements
1) A university degree is required. Although all candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with degrees in a relevant field
2) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)
3) Recent experience in the confectionery industry is strongly preferred
4) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in quality control
