Production Manager

Job Description

Our client, a leading meat company, is currently seeking an accomplished Production Manager to join the team. Here is an overview of the role:

1) Oversee further processed operations, which includes production, scheduling and ensuring compliance with the company’s standards and regulatory requirements

2) Manage proper yield and make sure that packing specifications are being met to company standards

3) Coordinate staffing issues to ensure maximum productivity

4) Review all SSOP, HACCP and GMP standards and procedures to guarantee product wholesomeness

5) Review all positions in the processing area and implement all training procedures in all positions to maximize ergonomic rotation and ensure proper coverage in key areas

6) Make sure that any maintenance and sanitation issues are addressed in a timely fashion

7) Build a solid team of employees while keeping team spirit and morale up with open communication

8) Review all evaluations and hiring needs in the processing area

9) Work with all levels of management and the Sales Team to ensure the quality of the product

10) Perform other duties and projects as assigned

Critical Requirements

1) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)

2) Recent experience in the meat industry is strongly preferred

3) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in production management
