Production Superintendent

Job Description

Responsibilities include:

1) Prepare all shipments and other inventory sheets, customer information

2) Oversee scheduling and operation of shifts, which includes production departments and for meeting department and company goals and standards on quality, yield, productivity, cost and safety

3) Develop and train forepersons and employees work within the guidelines of the company policies

4) Provide quick and timely feedback to manager on all exceptions regarding productivity, downtime, quality, yield, cost and safety

5) Monitor standards and indexes needed to control area of responsibility

6) Administer to ensure that safety orientations and safety meetings are held as required to keep frequency and severity to a minimum

7) Participate at department meetings in the planning processes and to the testing and development of techniques and processes

8) Comply with the company’s polices and procedures

9) Perform other duties as assigned

Critical Requirements

1) A university degree is required. Although all candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with degrees in a relevant field

2) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)

3) Recent experience in the poultry industry is strongly preferred

4) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in production

Compensation and Other Details

Base Salary: Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience
