Job Description
Our client, a leading food equipment company, is currently seeking an accomplished Global Sourcing Engineering Specialist to join the team. Here is an overview of the role:
1) Research, analyze and provide support and issue resolution and technical expertise to the Cross-Functional Product Category teams
2) Develop a supply base that provides competitive advantages in quality, value, cost, delivery and technology by continuous involvement in the supplier selection process
3) Execute benchmarking activities and cost negotiations
4) Work with buyers to identify, research and recommend potential suppliers that align with company’s expectations
5) Manage supplier relationships
6) Work with cross-functional product teams and suppliers to support the Value Improvement Program by investigating alternate means to reduce product costs
7) Develop should cost model analysis
8) Comply with the company’s policies and procedures
9) Perform other duties as assigned
Critical Requirements
1) A university degree is required. Although all candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with degrees in a relevant field
2) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)
3) Recent experience in the food equipment industry is strongly preferred
4) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in sourcing engineering

Compensation and Other Details
Base Salary: Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience
