Job Description
Our client, a leading confectionery company, is currently seeking an ambitious Quality Assurance Technician to help lead their team. This is a unique opportunity for a highly motivated candidate with a go-getter attitude and a drive to succeed. Responsibilities include:
1) Approve in-process production and finished products by confirming specifications and conducting visual and physical tests, if needed
2) Communicate with production staff when products are not within specification
3) Prepare all production samples for delivery to outside laboratory
4) Perform visual inspection of all retains samples for compliance with specifications
5) Document inspection results by completing reports and logs
6) Input data into relevant software
7) Notify operators and supervisors of quality deviations
8) Inspect process control points, critical control points, and essential quality attributes
9) Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures
10) Comply with legal regulations
11) Accomplish quality and organization mission by completing related tasks, as needed
Critical Requirements
1) A university degree is required. Although all candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with degrees in a relevant field
2) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)
3) Recent experience in the confectionery industry is strongly preferred
4) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in quality assurance
